Why We’re Against AI in Art

AI is rapidly entering creative spaces — including music.
At RealTune, we’ve made a clear choice: we don’t allow AI-generated music on our platform.

Not because we’re anti-technology, but because we believe art should remain human.

One of the developers behind RealTune has a band called Trenic.
They spent three months working on a single track — writing, producing, refining every detail.

When the song was finally released on SoundCloud, the first comment was:

“Is this AI trash?”

That moment changed everything.

For the first time, artists are being forced to prove they’re human — not prove their talent, but their existence as creators. And sadly, we may be entering an era where musicians constantly have to defend their work against the assumption that it was made by a machine.

AI can generate content, but art isn’t just content.

Art is intention, emotion, experience, and imperfection — things that come from being human.

When AI floods music platforms, real artists get buried, trust erodes, and listeners stop asking “Do I like this?” and start asking “Is this even real?”

RealTune exists to protect human-made music. That’s why we exclude AI tracks, verify artists as human, and create a space where music doesn’t need to justify itself.

Because if artists have to start every release by saying “This isn’t AI”, something essential has already been lost.
